Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is a safety net for customers of authorised financial services firms. The FSCS is the UK’s compensation fund of last resort for customers.The FSCS is an independent body, set up under the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). It may pay compensation if a firm is unable, or likely to be unable, to pay claims against it. This is usually because the firm has stopped trading or has been declared in default.

BEAM are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in the unlikely event that we are unable to meet our financial obligations.

EDG Property Limited

The letters "edg"in lower case in a large purple font. There is a gap in the ring of the "d" and directly underneath the letters in the same purple font but small;er, is the word "Property" in block capitals. The word is nestled in the gap between the tail of the "g" and the beginning of the "e".

We thought we were engaging BEAM to get the best insurance policy for our business. The advice we got, however, was really eye opening … we did not realise how some contracts could leave us in such a vulnerable position.

Electrue Part

The word "Electrue" in block capitals inside a diamond shape. The letters have been reshaped to fit the dimensions of the diamond. There are two triangle shapes in the highest and lowest point of the diamond that froce the middle letters into the same font size. This highlights the word "True" in the middle of the company name.

Our business maintains a proactive approach to managing risk, to avoid having to call our insurance policy to help us out. We achieved this with risk management support provided by BEAM. Their continuing help and wide ranging advice has made a massive difference to the business and gives me confidence personally that we are doing all that we need to.
